The 10s is a 'real' Selmer. Compared to the CT, the 10s has a more centered tone and improved intonation. Can anyone tell me what years Yamaha produced the YCL-20? Thanks!The Clarinet BBoard. I recently sent two selmer mouthpieces to Brad Behn to be refaced. One was an HS*, the other an "S"=both mouthpieces had facings on the table in an oval. Both sound very good, but I prefer the "S" mouthpiece to the HS*. I have heard and read that the HS* is a fine mouthpiece, and a mouthpiece that many who do custom ...The bore in the photo is an Buffet RC Bass clarinet that belongs to my friend Maurice Reviol (he apprenticed at Schreiber making bassoons, under the tutelage of Francois Kloc, and has worked on bass clarinet prototypes with Jochen Seggelke etc)..
